1. PUBLISHING; I need to submit to lit magazines such as Stork, Gangsters in Concrete, and Em Review. This is why: I am getting extremely good feedback from the online monthly/weekly writing contests I’ve been involved in, but so far with regards to the publishing world, I haven’t made any real effort. Alas, it’s the day after the Ratatat concert I’m already going to, and thus it is probably a dumb idea to go, especially because it’s also very expensive.

We're back from ireland!
It was really neat. And we met so many cool people, had some great food, took 15521895281 pictures, bought some neat things (including a copy of Harry Potter & The Philosopher’s Stone in Irish, as well as other things). Now Ali and I are completely jet-lagged, Kate leaves for Dublin tonight, and Ali leaves for Braintree this afternoon.

There is only one way to discover the real France, and that is by car. Backpackers will attempt to uncover the hidden features of this part of the continent by using public transport, but that doesn’t give you the freedom and convenience that comes with having your own car. And, unless you have the patience of a saint, using public transport in most parts of France...
things to look forward to:
1. On Tuesday, Lindsey (& the rest of her family, obviously), comes to visit until Monday.
2. On August 13th at 7-ish p.m., I leave for Ireland.
3. On August 22nd, Jen returns home from India. Meaning that when I come home on August 25th, I will be able to see her for the first time in OVER TWO MONTHS. SERIOUSLY WTF.
4. August 25th-ish: Possibly going to Jen’s lake house. Awesome?...
